Each quarter the Lab takes one genuine problem from the Problem Bank and opens it to teams — students, graduates, professionals. The judging rewards what employers reward: understanding, usefulness and evidence.
Judging
Seven criteria, published before the challenge starts.
- Problem understanding — did you build for the actual user?
- Usefulness — would anyone genuinely use this?
- Usability — can they, without a manual?
- Technical quality — honest engineering, not demo tape
- Evidence — did you test with anyone real?
- Responsible data use — privacy and consent handled properly
- Presentation — can you explain it under questioning?

Announced when the problem, mentors and judging panel are confirmed — interest-list members hear first. We do not publish challenge dates we cannot stand behind.
Are there prizes?
Rewards are stated per challenge — interviews, feedback sessions or sponsored seats depending on capacity and partners. Cash prizes are announced only when actually funded.
