Announced when confirmed
Thrive Innovation Lab · Demo Day

Demo Day: verified work, in front of the people who matter.

A periodic showcase where completed client outcomes, student capstones, mentored FYPs, internship work and Lab prototypes meet an audience of local businesses, universities, employers and UK diaspora founders.

The format

What a Demo Day contains.

Live demonstrations

Working software and measured campaigns, demonstrated by the people who built them — with ownership labels on screen.

The whole ecosystem in a room

Businesses with problems, students with proof, employers with vacancies, founders with questions. The introductions are the product.

Open problem briefs

Employers and businesses can table real briefs for the next challenge, FYP season or discovery sprint.

The honesty rules Demo Day runs on

Only verified work is shown, every project carries its ownership label, audience numbers are never inflated, and we never advertise an investor event unless actual qualified investors are confirmed attending. Dates are announced when the venue, content and audience are real — interest-list members and partners hear first.

Questions

Worth knowing.

When is the first Demo Day?

When there is verified work worth a room’s time — realistically after the first training cohorts, challenges and project deliveries complete. Announced first to the interest list and partners.

Can my organisation attend or host?

Yes — universities, employers and business associations can attend, table problem briefs or discuss hosting. Start at the partnership page.

Submit an idea or problem

Bring the problem. We will help you test it.

Students, founders, businesses and community organisations welcome. The first response is a short diagnostic — problem clarity, likely user, existing alternatives and a recommended next step: stop, research, prototype or sprint.

Thrive Innovation Lab

Start with the problem. Everything else follows.

Submit it in whatever shape it exists — the diagnostic gives it structure and an honest next step.
