Sessions announced when scheduled
Thrive Innovation Lab · Idea Clinic

The Idea Clinic: thirty focused minutes that save six wasted months.

A short diagnostic session for students, founders and businesses. You leave with problem clarity, a defined likely user, the existing alternatives named, and one honest recommendation: stop, research, prototype, or enter a sprint.

The output

Every clinic ends with five things in writing.

  • Problem clarity — one sentence that survives questioning
  • The likely user, specifically — not "everyone in Mirpur"
  • Existing alternatives — including doing nothing, WhatsApp and Excel
  • The next validation action, sized to a week not a year
  • A recommendation: stop, research, prototype, or validation sprint

Clinic dates are announced when scheduled — to the Lab interest list first. Submit an idea below and you are on it.

Who shows up

Three kinds of ideas walk in.

Students & FYP teams

Testing whether a project idea is feasible, useful and defensible — before the proposal locks it in.

Business owners

A process problem that might deserve a system, or a hunch about a new offer — diagnosed before money moves.

UK-based founders

A Mirpur opportunity that needs on-the-ground reality-checking before the first serious pound is spent.

Questions

Worth knowing.

Is the clinic really free?

The diagnostic session is free or low-cost per the published announcement for each session. Its job is to route ideas honestly — some to a paid sprint, many to free next steps, and a healthy share to a respectful "stop".

What should I prepare?

Nothing formal. Come able to answer: who has the problem, what they do about it today, and how you came to believe it matters. The clinic does the rest.

Submit an idea or problem

Bring the problem. We will help you test it.

Students, founders, businesses and community organisations welcome. The first response is a short diagnostic — problem clarity, likely user, existing alternatives and a recommended next step: stop, research, prototype or sprint.

Start with the problem. Everything else follows.

Submit it in whatever shape it exists — the diagnostic gives it structure and an honest next step.
